For the first time in the history of all the weddings I've ever shot or even been a part of, it poured rain the entire day. When I say the entire day, I mean from when we arrived and started shooting details right up through when everyone left. It rained so much that the bride, groom, and all the guests were completely soaked. Katie and Shelby had to change out of their wedding attire for dinner and the reception events! It made for one heck of a wedding and some everlasting memories! If a little rain on your wedding day brings good luck, then a downpour must mean these two are blessed forever!!
Luckily, my second shooter and I were very prepared for the crazy weather. We covered our cameras and wore these hilarious umbrella hats. I wish we had taken a photo together with the umbrella hats between we looked so goofy, but it got the job done and kept our gear dry enough!
