Before your session:

After you’ve booked your session and paid the nonrefundable deposit, we’ll meet at a local coffee spot or, if you're local, I can stop by to meet your family. If your little kids meet me before the session, they'll be less camera shy the day of. Before the session we'll discuss all the fun details such as; wardrobe, hair, makeup, locations, and specifics about the creative images you have in mind. I’m also going to ask you to put together a playlist of your favorite songs, and create a Pinterest board of your favorite images and poses.

Let's make this more than just another round of family photos. Encourage your kids to be themselves, laugh, giggle, and play with one another. Even if that means a little bit of rolling around and wrestling. Little kids hate being told to sit still and smile for the camera. Let's make family photos something they look forward to, which in turn makes them excited to be there!

 

The day of your session:

Bring your smiles, your laughter, and your raw love! Encourage your children to be themselves and let their raw energy flow. I strive to capture your family in the “in between” moments. Those tend to be the most treasured and memorable photographs. If your pets are a huge part of your family, like mine are, and you want them to be involved in the photoshoot, just make sure to bring a family friend to take care of your beloved pets for the remainder of the session. Let’s make some magic!
