Kristin and Matt were forced to face the harsh realities of 2020 and change all of their wedding plans because of Covid-19. They ended up keeping the same venue, but only had a couple close friends and family attend, while the rest of their guests got to view the ceremony, toasts, and first dances via a Zoom video call.
The day was absolutely beautiful, perfect, simple, and unique. Their two dogs Bella and B are their babies, and they got to be right up front for all the action.
Like so many others who downsized their 2020 wedding (like my husband and I) or decided to elope because of the corona virus, love ultimately won. We didn't let the harsh realities of the year bring us down, we worked through all the plan changes, downsizing, covid regulations, family unable to attend, traveling restrictions, lost deposits/payments to wedding vendors, toilet paper outages, and so much more to make our vows to our loved ones. I think all the weddings that went through with it in 2020 are that much more special for it.
